Copies the properties of the current ButtonField object to the specified DataControlField object.

newField: DataControlField

The DataControlField to which to copy the properties of the current ButtonField.

Remarks

The CopyProperties method is a helper method that is used by the DataControlField.CloneField method to copy the properties of the current ButtonFieldBase-derived object to the DataControlField object that was created by the DataControlField.CloneField method.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding the CopyProperties(DataControlField) method in a derived class, call the CopyProperties(DataControlField) method of the base class to ensure that all properties of the object are copied.
