Raises the ItemCreated event.
protected:
virtual void OnItemCreated(EventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnItemCreated(EventArgs e);
abstract member OnItemCreated : EventArgs -> unit
override this.OnItemCreated : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemCreated (e As EventArgs)
The OnItemCreated method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the ItemCreated event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.
The OnItemCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
When overriding OnItemCreated(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemCreated(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
