ObjectDataSourceView.CanUpdate Property

Gets a value indicating whether the ObjectDataSourceView object that is associated with the current ObjectDataSource control supports the update operation.

Updating is not supported if the UpdateMethod property is an empty string ("").
The CanUpdate property returns true, if the UpdateMethod property is set. A update operation could still fail, if all the data properties are not set or are not set correctly.
