An overwhelming majority of my games will not start when using dedicated GPU

I recently got a new PC and have spent the last few days setting everything up. But for some reason windows is recommending that i use the integrated GPU (Which has 412 MB of VRAM) instead of the dedicated GPU. And when i change the default from the integrated GPU to the dedicated one and i then launch a game, it freezes. As a matter of fact everything freezes and stops working. Even task manager doesn't work. It just freezes when i open it and crashes when i try to close something down including itself.

Some info about the GPUs

Integrated GPU: AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics

Dedicated GPU: Powercolor Radeon RX 7700 XT

    Hi ,

Sabya here, Independent Windows Adviser. Hope you are doing well.

Are you using a laptop or a desktop?

If you are using a desktop please make sure you are plugged into your RX 7700XT

If you are using a laptop you can disable your integrated graphics card so that the dedicated RX 7700XT is being always. The freezing generally occurs due to drivers. Please make sure your AMD graphics drivers are updated.
