Skulle vilja att ledigheter i Teams arbetspass syns som en inforuta längst upp i Outlook kalender för alla i en specifik Teamsgrupp

    Hi, LÖFGREN Mats

    Good day!

Thanks for posting into our community.

According to your description, the issue of your concern that you would like to have the synchronization between Teams Shift and Outlook Calendar.

It seems that it's not feasible in Teams temporarily. We truly understand how frustrating it is. However, since it is approaching into the design-level.

We have to say sorry that for our community team that we could not do much for you.

Nevertheless, synchronizing time off in Teams Shifts with Outlook Calendar can be achieved using Microsoft Power Automate as a workaround.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you set this up:

    1. Create a Flow in Power Automate:
      • Go to Power Automate and sign in with your Microsoft account.
      • Click on Create and select Automated flow.
    2. Set Up the Trigger:
      • Choose When a new shift is created as the trigger.
      • Connect to your Teams account and select the team and schedule you want to monitor.
    3. Add an Action to Get Shift Details:
      • Add a new step and choose Get shift details.
      • Use the shift ID from the trigger to get the details of the shift.
    4. Create an Event in Outlook Calendar:
      • Add another step and select Create event (V4) in the Outlook connector.
      • Fill in the details for the event, such as the start time, end time, and subject (e.g., "Time Off: [Employee Name]").
      • Set the calendar to the group calendar where you want the info box to appear.
    5. Test and Save Your Flow:
      • Test the flow to ensure it works as expected.
      • Save the flow and turn it on.

This setup will automatically create an event in the Outlook calendar whenever a new shift is created in Teams Shifts, making the time off visible to everyone in the specified Teams group.
