Why is Copilot not showing in Outlook (desktop or online)?

I have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription and recently added a Copilot license. I use Windows 11 as desktop OS and Edge and/or Chrome as web browser.

Copilot shows up in all my applications except Outlook and I don't understand why?
In my desktop Outlook app I use multiple accounts; my own with the Copilot license + a client account. I suspect this might be the reason?
However, if I use Outlook online with only my work account; still no Copilot....?

I use Teams with multiple accounts as well. Copilot is there when I use my work account, but disappears when I switch to the client account. Exactly the behaviour I expected. Also Word, PPT, Excel, MS 365 (Office) app works as expected.
But for some reason, not Outlook.

    Hi Pontus E,

Welcome to the Outlook community forum. I am an independent advisor here to help you.

Please, check whether you are using an unsupported language in Outlook for Copilot. If so, try changing the language to English US. Also, keep in mind you need to use the new version of outlook, Copilot doesn't work in the old version.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Kind Regards,
