IObjectWithProgID::GetProgID method (shobjidl_core.h)

Retrieves the ProgID associated with an object.

Syntax

HRESULT GetProgID(
  [out] LPWSTR *ppszProgID
);

Parameters

[out] ppszProgID

Type: LPWSTR*

A pointer to a string that, when this method returns successfully, contains the ProgID.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
