Regarding the KB5060999 Update for Windows 11 24H2:
According to Microsoft's official support page and other tech news outlets, KB5060999 was released on June 10, 2025. This update is primarily for Windows 11 versions 22H2 and 23H2. For Windows 11 24H2, the corresponding June 2025 Patch Tuesday update is KB5060842 also released on June 10, 2025.
It's important to note that updates for 24H2 are sometimes gradually rolled out. While it was released on June 10th, you might receive it slightly later depending on Microsoft's deployment schedule for your region or specific device.
What you can try now:
Since you've already updated your BIOS and Windows drivers, and tried adjusting game/Windows settings, here are some further steps based on similar issues reported by other users:
Check Windows Update again : Even though KB5060842 was released, check for updates manually in Windows Settings (Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates). If you don't see it immediately, it might still be rolling out to your device.
Verify your current Windows 11 24H2 Build Number:
Go to Settings > System > About.
Look for "OS Build."
After installing the June 2025 security updates, Windows 11 24H2 (with KB5060842) should have its build number changed to Build 26100.4349 (or higher for subsequent out-of-band updates). This will confirm you have the latest core updates.
Clean Install NVIDIA Drivers (again, if you haven't recently):
Even though your drivers are up-to-date, a clean install can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
Boot your PC into Safe Mode.
Run DDU to completely remove your NVIDIA drivers.
Reboot your PC normally.
Download the latest stable NVIDIA drivers directly from the official NVIDIA website for your RTX 4060 and install them. Avoid using GeForce Experience for driver installation for now, just to rule out any potential issues with it.
Try Slightly Older NVIDIA Drivers: Some users have reported that the latest NVIDIA drivers on 24H2 can cause issues. While it's generally recommended to stay updated, if the problem persists, consider trying a slightly older, but still recent, stable NVIDIA driver version. You can usually find older drivers on NVIDIA's driver download page by selecting "Beta and Older Drivers."
Disable Hardware Acceleration in applications (especially for Efootball 2025):
Some flickering issues, particularly in Chromium-based applications (Discord, browsers, etc.), have been linked to hardware acceleration. While eFootball 2025 isn't a browser, it might be worth checking if there's an in-game setting for hardware acceleration or if disabling it within the game's configuration helps.
Also, if you use Discord or other overlay applications while gaming, try disabling hardware acceleration within those apps.
Check for G-Sync/VSync Conflicts:
If you're using G-Sync with your monitor, try disabling it temporarily in the NVIDIA Control Panel and see if the flickering stops.
Experiment with VSync settings within eFootball 2025 (e.g., turn it off, enable adaptive VSync, or fast sync in NVIDIA Control Panel). Some users found that adjusting V-Sync options resolved stuttering/flickering in eFootball 2025 after Windows updates.
Given your powerful hardware (Ryzen 7600x, RTX 4060, 32GB DDR5 RAM), eFootball 2025 should absolutely run smoothly. The fact that it worked on Windows 10 points strongly towards a software or driver conflict with Windows 11 24H2. Hopefully, the latest cumulative updates or one of the troubleshooting steps above will resolve the flickering for you.
But please share your findings so we can assess the need for a more advanced troubleshooting steps.
Best Regards,
RizaP
