Hello!

I've been having this problem for second time now. It happened again before. My pc didn't have any problems before and everything is updated including windows and graphics drivers. But whenever I try to start a game it says there is a problem with directx and it fails to initialize directx. There should be a solution for this problem. Some games work without any problems but most games gives this problem and error.

    Hi Ada,

Your system might be defaulting to the integrated graphics rather than your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, which can trigger Direct3D errors like 0x887a0005.

I recommend forcing the game to use your dedicated NVIDIA GPU. To do this, open the Windows Settings app, navigate to System then Display, and scroll down to Graphics Settings. Add your game to the list if it isn’t already there, click Options, and select the High Performance option, which should assign the NVIDIA GPU to the game. After saving, restart your game to see if the error is resolved.
