Memory Integrity

Question

Hello, I know Memory Integrity can help my security on my pc but what about gaming? Cause on the official microsoft site (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/options-to-optimize-gaming-performance-in-windows-11-a255f612-2949-4373-a566-ff6f3f474613#:~:text=Memory%20Integrity%20helps%20prevent%20attackers,all%20new%20Windows%2011%20devices.)  it says to optimize gaming performance disable memory integrity and VMP is helping performance.

I'm currently playing valorant professionally and we have tournament client to play on official matches with other professional teams. And you have to enable memory integrity and Kernel DMA Protection (IOMMU in bios) to play on tournament client.

Should i enable or not? it can decrease my cpu performance or not (13900kf) ?

Also there was a lot of issues with windows security (LSA, kernel hardware) idk they did fix or not.

This all will have an impact on the gaming performance as the code is checked before being executed causing delay.

But as per your details "you have to enable memory integrity and Kernel DMA Protection (IOMMU in bios) to play on tournament client." meaning you have no other choice than to enable it.

Depending on your PC the impact may be very little.
