My Problem

My laptop is Lenovo g570. I have issues with updating my AMD Radeon HD 6300m series gpu.Whenever its activated its causes black screen then when I restart it I got BSODs. I tried downloading gpu driver using lenovo's site. It didnt worked. Then I used AMD's official site to download the driver .It didnt worked again. Everytime I install the driver it ask me to restart it afterwards. when I do I either get bsod on the boot or pitch black screen(no brightness at all). Only way I can use my computer is disabling AMD External Events Utility. However this prevents me from playing variety of games with AMD gpu which is either not opening the game or sluggisg experience

BSODs I generally encounter are

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY

VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Files that causes them are

USBSTOR.SYS (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA)

atikmdag.sys (VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE)

igdkmd64.sys (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)

RtsUser.sys (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)

Solutions I tried so far

Using sfc /scannow

Using DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Uninstalling both Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon Hd 6300m series via DDU in safe mode

Disabling AMD External Events Utility service on boot (No more bsod nor black screen however this method prevents usage of AMD gpu)

Reinstalling drivers. I used both windows 7 and windows 10 installer. No Luck

Resetting PC. This one makes me wonder if its more like hardware issue rather than software

Running Memory Diagnostic Tool several times.

Using chkdsk

Disabling Intel Graphics Card

System Info

Manufacturer & Model --> LENOVO 20079

Hi, thanks for replying, as per checking and analyzing, it has an error ntkrnlmp.exe, which is usually caused by Damaged power cords and adapters, and drivers, in this case, since you still experience issues, let us do a system repair and if the issue persists, I suggest contacting local technician as I am positive that it is a hardware-related issue.

An in-place upgrade will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Note: before doing this make sure to create a restore point: https://support.microsoft.com/en-hk/help/402753...

    1. go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
    2. Select Download Now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
    3. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
    4. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now, and then select Next.
    5. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.

    Hello

I did uninstalled gpu driver by using your link however amd radeon happens to not support Legacy AMD Radeon™ Graphics which my gpu falls in. I did install my driver however my screen got black and restarted it. Then in the opening I got another bsod again

It appears to be that my issue could related to hardware. However I **** afraid that my local technician would reduce my 8 gb ram to 216 kb
