I don't want the **** new Outlook app but Windows force me to use it. What should i do?

I cannot replicate Mail sometimes opening as the "new Outlook" as long as the "Try new Outlook" has not been enabled. It has never happened to me and opened / closed Mail at least 10-15 times again before replying to test it again

There is no other setting (that I know of) to force Mail to open correctly

Yes i can still open Mail app but sometime windows close it and try to open new Outlook. For now, i just uninstall the new Outlook so i can still use old one. Do you know any setting to continue to use old Mail app?

First, just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum. We have no input on Microsoft's policies, procedures, or design decisions.

Just to be clarify, the "new Outlook" is a replacement for the Windows 10 / 11 Mail, Calendar, People apps.

For the time being, you will able to still launch the "Mail" app (or the classic Outlook desktop app) by clicking on the applicable icon in the Windows 10 / 11 Start menu.

In terms of the "new Outlook", it is essentially "Outlook on the web" wrapped in an app framework with the added functionality of being able to add external IMAP accounts.
