Based on the information you provided, you are getting an error says, "We couldn't find an account with that username". I am afraid that your account has been hacked and that the hacker changed your email address.
Let me provide you options to recover your account.
- Have you used your account for Xbox or Windows? Please check if there were changes on the email address or logins.
For Xbox console:
Go to Profile & System
Click Profile
You will then see the Gamertag and the new email address under your name.
For Windows:
Go to Settings
Go to Accounts then click Your info.
You will then see your new Microsoft account email address under your name.
Please make sure that your devices are connected to the Internet.
- If you have used a third-party email address {gmail.com, yahoo.com, aol.com etc.) you should receive an email from Microsoft that your Microsoft account email address has been changed to the new email address.
- Once you have found the new email address, you can fill out the Account Recovery form https://account.live.com/acsr
Please take note that when answering the form, you need to use the new email address on the "What Microsoft account are you trying to get back into?" field.
If you were not able to locate the new email address, you can contact the live support to escalate your issue.

- You need to sign to another Microsoft account in order to access this page. Please follow all the steps provided to reach chat support:
- Enter your issue "Account hacked" and click Get Help
- Click "Contact Support" that you will see on the lower part of the page
- Under "Products and Services", click "Select your product or service" and select the product you want to ask about. Please select "Microsoft 365 and Office"
- Under “Category”, click “Select your support category” and select the category you want to ask about. You can select "Manage account security"
- Press Confirm
- Press Chat with a support agent in your web browser
