Business value

Allow larger enterprise-level customers to use dual-write live sync.

Feature details

A legal entity is an organization that is identified through registration with a legal authority. Legal entities can enter into contracts and are required to prepare statements that report on their performance. In Finance and Operations apps, company is a type of legal entity. Currently, when using Finance and Operations apps with Microsoft Dataverse using dual-write, you are limited to 40 legal entities on live synchronizations. To support adoption of dual-write, especially by enterprise customers, this limit is increasing to 250 legal entities.

The initial synchronization limit remains at 40 at this time due to larger data volumes and related operations.
