字典中的 IDictionary 專案 (，例如 WPF ResourceDictionary) 需要索引鍵。 在 XAML 中，索引鍵通常會由 x:Key 中每個專案的 IDictionaryXAML 標記中的 屬性指定。
DictionaryKeyPropertyAttribute會套用至使用隱含索引鍵的類別，其中要用於IDictionary包含的索引鍵來自類別中的不同屬性值。 套用 DictionaryKeyPropertyAttribute 的類別實例可以包含在 IDictionary 中，而不需要明確的索引鍵，只要 所參考 IDictionary 的屬性具有在字典實作中做為索引鍵的有效值即可。
