File explorer keeps loading green bar

Hi, how to time out or stop file explorer from keeps searching/loading green bar. Please asap.

Hello,

Try resetting File Explorer (explorer.exe) process:

Press Windows Key + R and type SYSDM.CPL in Run. Click OK or press Enter key.
In System Properties window, switch to Advanced tab, click Settings under Performance.
Next, in Performance Options, under Processor scheduling, make sure that Adjust for best performance of: is set to Programs.
Then in the same window, under Virtual memory, click Settings button.
On Virtual Memory page, make sure Automatically manage paging file sizes for all drives option is checked. Click OK, then Apply, OK on rest of windows.
Reboot the machine and see if issue is resolved now.

You should remote that post, it does not resolve nothing and it seem to be made for older version of Windows

I have the same issue but my system properties are already set to what you recommend. Basically, explorer.exe is useless for many minutes. Sometimes task manager says it's Not Responding - ATM I'm trying to delete a folder. Task Manager shows this process as "Discovered 1 item" and doing between 1-2% CPU - the machine is idle otherwise. I'm on Win 10 - v22H2 (OS Build 19045.3803)

You may need to rebuild the file associated with file indexing.

All Settings > Search bar "Indexing Options" > Indexing Options > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Rebuild

Let it do its thing. Solved my problem with the slow loading green bar in Windows Explorer.
