I have upgraded my SCCM 2207 to SCCM 2403 successfully. It seems everything does work. Today I wanted to use UDI Designer to install OS with TS, I am getting Error message with Error Code
Task Sequence has failed with the error code 0x00000001 in the task sequence step 'Use Toolkit Package.
on on the smslog file

After I investigated some time, I decide to install a new MDT Tools Kit. But it does not work on Task Sequence with Create MDT Task Sequence.
I have uninstalled MDT Tool Kit and install it again. No change
I am using the ADK version

MDT build 8456 is the latest version available.
MDT doesn't support Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 operating systems.
VBScript has been deprecated by Microsoft. This means that it is no longer being actively developed and its use is not recommended.
This could be the reason why you are experiencing the above problem.
With the deprecation of VBScript by Microsoft, the use of .wsf files might also be affected, so it’s recommended to transition to more modern and supported scripting languages like PowerShell.

I don't want to install or create Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022. I have created many MDT Tasks and I am using UDI to deploy Windows 10.
If I understand you, I cannot use any more the MDT and UDI with SCCM2403?
Are you really sure? I cannot find any documentation about SCCM 2403, that does not supported UDI and MDT any more
The news is indeed frustrating; MDT was an outstanding deployment tool.
As you may be aware, MDT contains a significant number of VBScripts, and Microsoft has officially announced the deprecation of VBScript.
If I understand you, I cannot use any more the MDT and UDI with SCCM2403? Yes or No?

When attempting to create an MDT Task Sequence, the Configuration Manager console crashes.

I just noticed that all integration with ConfigMgr such as dell command suite, HP buttons cause the console to crash it is not just MDT

To fix the issue for MDT to work normally. Here is the workaround that works properly. XML files contain references to Microsoft namespaces that are HTTP endpoints. Change that to HTTPS. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\Forms Modify the following files: - Microsoft.BDD.SCCM_CreateBootImage.xml - Microsoft.BDD.SCCM_ImportTaskSequence.xml
Yes correct. create MDT TS should work with you once you change to HTTPS.
