Hi Team,
we remove exchange online license for a mailbox that is on litigation hold.
user data will be retained or not after 30 days?
How do we restore mailbox or retieve data?

If the mailbox is on hold, it will not be removed after removing the license. However, removing the license of a mailbox that is put on hold is a violation of the licensing terms.

If mailbox is not in retention policy, I dont think so, you are able to recover it.
