How to find device's previous entra AD/Intune entries

We were setting up an older desktop that had sat in storage for a bit. Unfortunately, Windows had crashed on the device. After installing windows and auto piloting the device for the first time company portal errors out stating this device is already set up in another organization. Last time we ran into this it was in our organization under a different device name as someone hadnt deleted it out of AD/Entra AD and intune when they put it in storage (we also had a different naming convention that frequently changed the names). Since the device had to be fully reset up, is there a way for me to search in any of these tools to find its potential duplicate?

@White, Gabriel Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, if we have the serial number of the device, we can find if there is a target device in intune portal via this serial number. The device's serial number is from the manufacturer.

    Hope it will help.
