Harrington font family
Overview
This face was made during the late 19th century, the same period when these high-waisted art nouveau letters were fashionable. Harrington probably first appeared in the list of fonts from Haddons, a type foundry in London. Unlike many of the other art nouveau fonts, however, Harrington came with a full character set. For some years, the need for a typeface of this kind has only been met by fonts like University Roman. Harrington deserves to be seen once again, nearly a century after it first appeared.
