Greetings,
When opening e.g. foto, calculator, ecc. error file System (-2147219196).

I restored the PC to a previous point and initially everything worked, but after a few minutes the problem recurred.

    Hi Piero,

    Thanks for your post. Based on my research, error 2147219196 can be caused due to a problem in the Microsoft Store app package. Attempt re-registering the apps package and check if this can fix the issue. Steps:

    • In the Windows search bar, type Windows PowerShell.
    • Right-click on Windows PowerShell.
    • Select Run as administrator.
    • Right-click on PowerShell.
    • Command Prompt window opens. Type the following command: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
    • Wait until the process finishes. Next, restart your computer.

    If no help from previous one, go to Start, click Settings > System > Apps & Features and click on "Photos" app. Under Advanced options, you'll find the reset button and this will allow you to reset the App. Once it's done, restart the PC and check if you can view the pictures now.
