Your work or school account belongs to your home organization

Please i need your help on this issue.

 

I have a user who is facing an issue with their work or school account belonging to their home organization and they want to leave and hand over the account to another admin because they have resigned from the company.

    This user should make the organization's admin know that the account is still active. The admin has to deactivate/delete it from their organization's admin center.

    Why can’t I leave an organization?

    In the Home organization section, there's no link to Leave your organization. Only an administrator can remove your account from your home organization. Because your account is managed by your administrator, you're not allowed to leave your home organization.

    Administrators can use the External user leave settings to control whether external users can remove themselves from their organization. If you disallow the ability for external users to remove themselves from your organization, external users will need to contact your admin, or privacy contact to be removed.

    Important: If you leave an organization by mistake, there's no way to undo it. You'll have to wait for the administrator of that organization to invite you again
