The hyperlink in a powerpeint file opened in Viva Learning does not open at all. I get the mouse-over text which shows the URL but nothing happens when i click on the link. The hyperlink works fine when i open the file in Teams or in the desktop app.

Is this issue happened only in PowerPoint?
Have you tried to use Teams web client to see if it can be reproduced?

I just tried the Teams web client - same issue here. Nothing happening when clicking on the hyperlink. Other users also reported this. I don't have any other form of document in Viva right now to try.

I will check if it can be reproduced in our environment. Meanwhile, could you open the link in SharePoint Site directly because we found that viva learning content is used SharePoint as a source?

Same problem when I run Teams and Viva Learning in webclient.
Tested with docx-file - same problem as pptx.
tested with xlsx-file - same problem as pptx.
Tested with pdf-file - pdf-file is not previewed in Viva Learning but starts download.
I found that the Hyperlink in the DOCX-file works if I press Ctrl+Click
But Ctrl+Click does not work in PPTX or XLSX
Had the same problem and it was fixed by a friend

I have the same issue: Hyperlinks do not work in any document formats in teams Viva Learning web or desktop.... This is a major issue...
The links work in the source document when opened from SharePoint directly without any problem. Only when "viewed" through Viva Learning the hyperlinks do not work. this occors with all documents I tested - and all users in our client that tried.
The same situation for me. All links work wherever opened but not in the VivaLearning viewer

@JimmyYang-MSFT I have the same issue with url links not opening through the Viva Learning app, yet it opens from the sharepoint location the viva learning repository is mapped to. Guess there still isn't a solution for this yet? I have reported it to our MSFT rep as well.
