I had a Microsoft 365 subscription but have cancelled it after buying Office Home 2024. In Excel the Save and the Save As options are now greyed out and in Word recent documents cant be edited. How do I get round these problems please?

Hi Bernie,

From this brief description it would seem you have not yet activated your Office 2024 subscription.

Use the Menu Bar in Excel and choose Excel > Sign Out.

Restart your Mac, and then open Excel. It will prompt you to enter your Office 2024 credentials.

Hi, thanks for replying, I had already delved in the Microsoft Support pages..

In the Microsoft Support pages I found a list of instructions to run through to uninstall 365, then I installed Office Home 2024 again and followed the setup.

    Normality has resumed.

    Cheers

    Bernie
