I have followed all recommendations that I have found online to return the view of my word docs to letter/portrait orientation. Nothing has fixed the square view. My word docs print correctly but top and bottom margins are hidden from view. Please help!

Your settings have the display of "white space" turned off. That includes the top and bottom margins and anything in the headers and footers.

To toggle the display on and off, either double click in the space between two pages, or go to the Options dialog and check/uncheck the "Hide white space" option.

Nancy, re margins as Jay says you have hidden white space. You can double click to show the space. I can double click hide the space.
