I created a file in MS Word and accidentally created a third page, so I'm left with a three-page document, the last page of which is blank. How do I delete the blank page?

Click the ¶ icon on the Home tab to display nonprinting characters. If you see a third page which is (partly) filled with blank paragraphs, ¶, delete them. For more on this and other reasons for excessive pages, see http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/BlankPage.htm.

Indeed, nothing has changed since I last reviewed that page in 2023. The instructions for "Word 2007 and above" include all current versions.

Thanks, Stefan Blom. Unfortunately, this did not help. I have Microsoft 365. Seems like the modern version of word does not include the fixes of earlier days. As it turns out, I need the extra page, so all is not in vain. Thanks again.

Glad it worked out for you.

The fixes on Suzanne's page are still relevant and helpful.

Suzanne's article should include all the possible causes and all the necessary fixes. The "blank page behavior" hasn't changed from older versions of Word.

If you want to share a sample document, you can do that by uploading it to OneDrive and posting a download link in this thread, so that Suzanne, Charles or I can have a closer look.
