moved to hp desktop with windows 11 and have office 2019 installed. have brother 3180CDW. When go to print duplex printer prints on both sides but only honours flip on short side. either choice long side or short side produces the same output. Older created documents do the same. Not sure if the issue is windows 11 or the driver for the Brother printer supplied by windows 11 is the problem.

How automatic duplex printing works is controlled by the printer, not by Word. Check with Brother support; maybe you need an updated driver.

I'm glad you were able to find the correct printer driver.

As you have noticed, you can't be sure that Windows will install the correct driver automatically.

loaded the Brother 2015 driver and things work great thanks

you would think that when you purchase a computer in 2025

and windows 11 does a major update before it lets you install

that it would load the most current driver for all the current

    products. But I guess not.
