I WANT COPILOT GONE: it is disrupting my creative process. It is pervasive and omnipresent. Dear God, who thought this was a good idea? REMOVE IT NOW. or at least allow me to disable it.

It is constantly covering my text and not allowing me to see what I need to do in my editing. Stop it.

If you're using the desktop version of Word for Windows, you can disable Copilot:

  • Select File > Options.
  • Select Copilot in the navigation pane on the left hand side.
  • Clear the 'Enable Copilot' check box.
  • Click OK.

(It's the same in Excel and PowerPoint, and in the Editor Options in Outlook)
