Table not incorporating adjacent cells

Up until a couple of weeks ago, anytime that I put information in a cell that we beside or below a table, the table would automatically incorporate these cells. My tables no longer do this. I would like for this function to resume.

I am not sure if an option was somehow unselected or not. Could someone help me please?

Thank you!!

William

Select File > Options.

Select Proofing in the navigation pane.

Click the AutoCorrect Options... button.

Activate the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

Select the check box 'Include new rows and columns in table'.

Click OK, then OK.
