File Explorer page letters shrunk

After leaving the Safe Mode a couple days ago, the File Explorer letters came on smaller from the org. settings and the icons too...Other pages are OK...My scale and resolution settings are the way I set them up....Edge and Google pages are fine ... Firefox search box letters have shrunk too...But the icons are good and all web pages on all the search engines and all the setting pages for Windows 11 pro are fine...Screenshot (83).png

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that you are experiencing a problem with the display of letters after exiting safe mode. Here are some troubleshooting solutions:

Method 1:

Open File Explorer (the window shown in your screenshot).

Click anywhere in the window with your mouse to ensure that it is the active window.

Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard.

At the same time, scroll up with your mouse wheel.

You should see the icons and text immediately enlarge. You can scroll back and forth until they return to a size you find comfortable. If you don't have a mouse wheel, you can also hold down the Ctrl key and press the plus (+) key on your keyboard.

Method 2: Reset folder view options

Open File Explorer.

Click the three dots (...) button next to “View” on the top toolbar.

In the dropdown menu, select “Options.”

A “Folder Options” window will pop up. Switch to the “View” tab.

Click the “Reset Folders” button, then click “Yes” in the confirmation dialog box.

Click “OK” to close the window. You may need to close and reopen File Explorer to see the changes.

Method 3: Check the text size settings in Accessibility

Windows 11 has a “Text Size” setting that is independent of the main display zoom, which can sometimes affect the font size in certain apps while leaving others unaffected.

Click the “Start” button and select “Settings.”

Go to “Accessibility.”

Select “Text size.”

You will see a slider. Ensure that the slider is at the far left position, which is 100% (default value).

If it is not at the default position, drag it to the far left and then click “Apply.”

Method 4:

Use Update Repair

Open Settings, System, Recovery, and select “Use Update Repair.”

    Yes, Method #3 , Text size...I moved the slide back to 100 and clicked Apply. Then I moved it back to 160 , my org. setting, clicked Apply, and that worked. It brought back all the columns to equal sizing that I want....Thank You Very Much for all your help....
