I understand your frustration with the laptop going to sleep and all screens turning off when you close the lid.

You could try following these steps below to solve this issue:

• Press Windows + R, type powercfg.cpl > Enter
• On the left-hand side of Power Options window, click on Choose what closing the lid does
• In the row named When I close the lid, find the column for Plugged in
• Click the dropdown menu, select Do nothing
• Click Save changes

Note: It is recommended to leave the the "On battery" setting as "Sleep". This prevents the laptop from accidentally staying on, overheating, and draining its battery if you close the lid and put it in a bag without realizing it wasn't plugged in.
