Reset the laptop and haven't activate the Microsoft before resetting

in acer aspire lite 15, is the pre-installed Microsoft Office Home 2021 is included in the purchasement? what if you reset your laptop and it vanish, can you ask them to pre-install it again without fee? What if you didn't have a microsoft account wherein you have reset your laptop before activating the pre-installed Microsoft? Then if you pre-installed the Microsoft version 2021 again, do you have to pay again?

I understand you have reset your laptop, and you were not able to activate your Microsoft Office Home 2021.

Have you tried checking the original specifications of your laptop online? Normally that would show if your machine comes with Microsot Office Home 2021.

If you reset your machine before activating Office, you may potentially lose your license if it was a one-time purchase associated with the device. If this is the case, you may need to reach out to ACER after-sales support and explain what happened; you may need to provide proof of purchase.

May I ask again, do they possible pre-installed again the microsoft for free? Then, what I'm gonna do, my license is gone and I didn't have the microsoft account to recover it since I didn't activate it when I bought it...

Windows will have its licence embedded in the bios by Acer. Windows will activate on a clean install using that licence.

The Office products are different. As stated previously if Acer supplied a licence then you will need to contact them. If it was a free trial you can install the months free trial yourself, you will need to buy a licence after the trail expires.

Usually pre-installed software (Microsoft 365) is a trial unless the purchase specifically states there is a licence supplied by Acer.

You can download the trial again but will need to pay once the period has expired.
