How do I un-sync my home apps between my laptop and desktop?

I recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 7. I already have a gaming desktop pc, and when I set up my laptop it had the apps I have downloaded on my desktop on the home screen. Issue is that they're all games that I can't use on my laptop, so I want them off of it. But whenever I try to get them off, it also removes them from my desktop. How can I avoid this?

That syncing is caused by logging into both devices with the same Microsoft account and using OneDrive to sync your files online.

It is not actually syncing the apps and games to your laptop, it is just syncing the desktop shortcuts, by default OneDrive syncs the Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders.

To stop the syncing, you can open OneDrive form its cloud icon on your Taskbar and sign out of OneDrive or unlink the Lenovo laptop in OneDrive, that will stop the files form your other device appearing on the laptop.
