Hello, I have a question about what's happening. I live in Bangkok, Thailand but I found so many Microsoft sign-ins from outside the country but they are all unsuccessful. Can anyone help me?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that you're seeing repeated unusual sign-in activity on your Microsoft account.

Please note that anyone who knows your email address may try to sign in to your account. Usually, this happens if your personal information (email address) is breached on untrusted websites, and they might have leaked your info. Hackers use this information to try to access your account. However, since the sign-in is unsuccessful, your account remains safe.

All you need to do to secure your account is to have a strong password and enable two-factor authentication.

Important - Make sure you have multiple verification methods, such as Authenticator, Phone number, or recovery email address, here - https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage

  1. Sign in with your account using the link above.
  2. Enable two-factor authentication (set to ON).
  3. Then, add the Microsoft Authenticator app (Select "Use an App") and follow the instructions to set up MFA.

Once enabled, you will see successful sign-in activity, which is your own. You will still see the unusual sign-in activity on the page; however, securing your account should be the main goal here.

Let me know if you still need more help.
