Ever since the update on July 9, 2025 (KB5062553), the sensitivity of my wireless mouse has become almost unmanageable. When I attempt to select dropdown boxes, websites, or even just highlight selections, the mouse seems not to be able to make a complete connection. Lots of flickering and jumping about. I have slowed the mouse speed down, turned off enhanced pointer precision, removed and reinserted the wireless USB mouse, changed the batteries, and checked for updated drivers. It seems to have a mind of its own.
It started after this update, and my research has indicated that this update appears to have something to do with the mouse. I cannot uninstall the update.

I have a similar issue with my Logitech M185 wireless mouse. The issue is it doesn't open the minimized icons from the task bar on single click. I had to remove the battery and reset the mouse. After that it would work for couple of clicks and then stops working. Intriguingly the single left click works everywhere else as expected , no other issue. I am not sure if this is the mouse issue or windows issue. if anyone has a suggestion would appreciate.
PS: All windows updates have been applied and is up to date. The mouse is otherwise working fine. The same issue was also happening with a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, which was couple of years old so I replaced that with this new Logitech mouse and the issue continues. So, I tend to think this could be a Windows issue or a combination of Windows mouse.
If the July 8th update caused the problems, have you since installed the August update that was released on Tuesday, and that update did not resolve the problem?
If so, open the Settings App, then go to System - Windows Update.
Select the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section and wait for that process to complete to see if that may resolve the problem.

OH! Thank you! I do believe that has fixed the obnoxious problem! The most recent update was successfully installed on 8/13/2025 (KB5063878) (26100.4946). That is the one I reinstalled. Thus far, it does appear to have gotten the "ghost" out of my mouse!
