Why is the start button way over to right on Win 11

Pls move it back to left hand side. Why is it so far over now, all that space is lost and the right can get cluttered with open pages.

In Windows 11 by default the Start button is in the middle of the Taskbar.

Right click your Taskbar and select 'Taskbar Settings'.

In the resulting settings, expand the 'Taskbar behaviors' section.

In there, can you set the 'Taskbar Alignment' drop-down menu to Left@
