Just got my surface laptop 13 recently , and I replace it with a bigger ssd , since after the new ssd install with surface recovery image, I not able to see my device showing up in my Microsoft account.

would it possible that my previous ssd windows 11 does not unlink / reset before I install the new ssd?

how to resolve it ?

There is currently a reported problem with devices not showing on the Microsoft account online, and that may be causing the problem.

If you log into your Microsoft account online go to the Devices section, are you able to enter the serial number found on the underneath bottom case of your laptop to register that device?
