How to transfer my Office 365 Home version to a new computer (Office for Mac)

I am buying a new compuer and want to transfer my subsciption to the new computer, how do I do that? I still have the original activation code

Oh got it!

You may uninstall it by following the steps below:

Please open the Finder then choose Application, hit Command and click to select all of the MS 365 apps. Ctrl and click the apps and choose Move to Trash.

    Which version is this? Subscriptions, such as Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family, will not require that you uninstall. Just install on your new Mac.

    Perpetual (one-time purchase) licenses, such as Office Home 2024, are different, though. These are for one device (Mac or PC), so you'll need to uninstall from the older device.

    This is Tin, I'm happy to assist you. I can see here that you would like to transfer your MS Office 365 Home to your new computer.

    First thing to do, please uninstall the MS Office from your old account. To do that, please click Start menu and type control panel then hit enter. Select Programs, then choose Uninstall program and look for the MS Office Home then click on it you'll find an option to uninstall.

    Using your new computer: All you have to do is to sign in your account to https://office.com/myaccount or https://account.microsoft.com/services and you will see the option to install your MS Office.
