How can i redeem my 3 month pc game pass in "Included with device" in microsoft store?

So, my cousin gets a laptop gifted to her by her aunt from the states. it came with 3 months of free pc game pass. but we are kids and dont have us or local payment methods. so we cant enjoy it. please help.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to redeem the free digital subscription without an active payment method, as the automatic renewal is enabled by default.

You can try asking your parents if they can lend you a payment method and add it on account.microsoft.com > Payment Options.

Once the payment method is added and the 3-month subscription is redeemed, you can remove the payment method to avoid automatic renewal upon expiration by cancelling the recurring billing first on account.microsoft.com > Subscriptions > turn off recurring billing.

Then, remove the payment method under Payment Options.

    Hi @Adoni Kassahun ,

    is there any way to change it to standard( console game pass)?

    I'm sorry but Microsoft doesn't allow swapping a PC game pass key for a Console game pass key. They are treated as separate subscriptions.
