Hello,

The message "No BitLocker recovery key found for this device" in your Microsoft account means the key was not saved there. However, it could have been saved in other places when BitLocker was first enabled.

Please check all of the following locations:

  1. A different Microsoft Account: If you have ever signed into the device with another personal, work, or school account, check those as well.
  2. On a USB flash drive: You may have saved the key to a USB drive when you first set up BitLocker. Plug the drive into another computer to see if a text file named BitLocker Recovery Key [ID].txt is present.
  3. Your System Administrator (for work/school devices): If your computer is part of a domain (like a work or school network), your IT department most likely has the key stored. Please contact them for assistance.

Unfortunately, if the recovery key cannot be located in any of the places listed above, the data on the drive is inaccessible by design. Microsoft support cannot access or recreate a lost recovery key.

The only remaining option is to reset your PC. This will remove all of your files, but it will allow you to use your device again.

Best regards.
