Can't sign into copilot

I’m currently unable to sign in to Copilot. The interface says I’m not signed in, but it also doesn’t allow me to sign in. I’ve cleared cookies, tried incognito mode, refreshed the browser, and attempted alternate sign-in paths. I only have one device, so I can’t test elsewhere. There’s no error message—just a silent block.

Dear Ezra

Thanks for reaching out! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A. I'm Haien from Microsoft Q&A.

It sounds like a connection or authentication issue is preventing the Copilot service from properly verifying your identity, even if your browser's local data suggests you've cleared everything.

Here are some effective ways to work on:

  • Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts and confirm your personal Microsoft account is listed. If Copilot is accessing the wrong account, try switching to your personal account in Settings > Accounts > Your info > Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
  • Go to SettingsAppsInstalled apps > Find Microsoft Copilot in the list > Click the three dots (...) next to it > select Advanced options > First, try the Repair option. If that doesn't work, proceed with the Reset option.
  • Open the Get Help app, search for "Copilot license troubleshooter> follow the steps to check for firewall or network blockers.
