Outlook Address Book mixed up

The address book in Outlook doesn't sort of display what I enter. Sometimes, it shows LAST, FIRST_NAME, sometimes the other way around. It ignores what I put as "File as". It worked perfectly until I got a new laptop and connected to Office 365. ???

Hi,

Can you check these settings, Outlook Name Display Settings

  • Open Outlook.
  • Navigate to File > Options > Contacts.
  • Search for Names and Filing section.
  • Adjust Display names by and Default "File As" order to your desired format, i.e., "First Last" or "Last, First."
  • Click OK to save.
