How To Enable Microsoft Teams Meeting Showing In MS (new) Outlook for Windows

I have the new version of MS Outlook for Windows and cannot find any help on how to add-in the Microsoft Teams application. I would like to schedule Teams meetings through Outlook as well be able to download my email addresses so its easier to auto populate email addresses upon typing in.

Hi,

Based on your description, you wanted all meetings or scheduled meetings from Outlook to be converted to Teams meetings. Please note that scheduling Teams meetings in Outlook is only available for M365 Business Exchange accounts. The Outlook add-in doesn't support creating meetings when using a personal account.

If you have this account or subscription, you can schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting from Outlook.

I would like to apologize for this, but there is a misunderstanding on my part. I got confused with MS 365, which had the related issue as yours. You can create an Outlook meeting connecting with Teams using Outlook for Windows and MS Teams for Windows from the MS Store.

Just sign in to both apps on the same account, and then create a new event/meeting on Outlook, and you can enable team meeting beside the add title.

Please note that this works only for Outlook.com accounts.

Thanks so much for the assistance. As I mentioned, I have the new Outlook version in Windows desktop app and not the .com version or Classic Outlook. It seems there is no fix for working with my version and MS Teams. Very unfortunate.
