Hi A Romic, thanks for reaching out. Yes, it’s completely fine that your old Windows 10 PC and new Windows 11 PC have the same PIN. Even though the numbers match, each PIN is unique to the device and stored securely on that computer only. Resetting your old PC to factory settings will erase everything from that device, including its PIN, but it won’t affect your new computer, your Microsoft account, or any files saved in OneDrive. PINs are device-specific and never synced between PCs, so you’re safe to go ahead with the reset.
Old Windows 10 computer and new Windows 11 computer have same pin number. Is this ok?

Hello. I have recently purchased a new computer with windows 11 as my old computer has Windows 10 and updates will cease soon. All my files were transferred via one drive to the new computer. My pin number is exactly the same. If I reset my old computer to factory settings will it affect my new computer. Thank you
