hi everyone, i just bought this new BCM94352Z from aliexpress here’s the product link:

i encountered problem in windows 11 24H2. It works for a couple of second and when i’m trying to connect to my wifi the windows just freeze and i need to force shutdown the computer. Even after doing that the windows just keeps freezing. Already try various driver from fenvi, dell, lenovo but nope, it’s just simply not solving the issue. Already searching for a solution in the internet and yet the issue is still there. I could confirmed that the wifi card is indeed working because everything works fine in ubuntu linux. Could someone provide me a solution for this kind of issue? Here’s my computer specs

Name: HP EliteDesk 800 G5 35W

Processor: Intel Core i5-9500T

WiFi: Broadcom BCM94352Z (Previously Intel Wireless 9560NGW)

WiFi slot: CNVIo1

OS: Windows 11 24H2

I know it’s not the appropriate wifi card to use in that computer but i need that card for something else

I’m really sorry i didn’t reply you cause i’ve been busy doing my work.

I already found a solution to this problem. Apparently the Active State Power Management (ASPM) is the main problem to this problem. Turning off the ASPM-related option in the BIOS fixing the problem.

Been asking in other forums yet still got no response. Thanks for your willingness to respond to my problem☺️☺️

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks.

The minidump suggests that the crash was triggered by a driver linked to the Intel processor. There are also signs pointing to a "PCI Express Error" as the underlying cause.

    I suggest doing the following:

    • Go to the HP website using the link below, download the latest Chipset driver, and install it.

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-elitedesk-800-g5-desktop-mini-pc/model/27066641?sku=9GB65EC

Driver name: Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

    Version: 10.1.19444.8378 Rev.A

(You will need to expand the Driver-Chipset category to find the mentioned driver.)

(Run the downloaded EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

Then, restart your PC and see if the system will work stably.

If the crash occurs again after doing this, please share the minidump it created.

I will explain why I suggested this:

The chipset is a vital component responsible for managing communication between the processor and external devices connected to the motherboard, such as the Wi-Fi card.

A compatibility issue with chipset drivers can make the system unstable to the point of experiencing BSODs or abrupt shutdowns.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

This behavior can occur for several reasons. It is necessary to investigate.

Please see if your computer created minidump files.

    These files are in "C:\Windows\Minidump".

(If you don't have a "Minidump" folder, check if it is in the plural "Minidumps".)

Copy any files you have to your desktop and store them in a ZIP file. Then, upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

If the system is not stable enough to do this, start Windows in Safe Mode with Networking.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-startup-settings-1af6ec8c-4d4a-4b23-adb7-e76eef0b847f

At the "Startup settings" step, press 5 or F5 to start Windows in Safe Mode with Networking.

Post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

    I await your reply.
