HP Pavilion stopped communicating with printer

3 PC's plus iphones and ipads all print to the same PC in my house. One of the PC's suddenly will not. I tried printing a test page from it and got error 0x000006ba (local print spooler service is not running). The computer sees the printer but cannot communicate with it. I tried to remove the printer but it said "remove failed". I've rebooted printer and PC several times. I've tried to "add printer" but it says it can't find it (PC and printer are on same network). Printer works perfectly from all other devices. I deleted HP Smart app and reinstalled it plus the driver package. It shows the printer is there but "idle" and won't connect to it, and doesn't appear to have installed the drivers. This was rather sudden, as if caused by a windows update to the computer or something. Appreciate any help!

I actually solved it shortly thereafter. Link above was helpful. Item 3 is what worked for me.
