Outlook.com has blocked my message. In addition, it says daily message limit helps us free the world from spammers--we're sorry that it's getting in your way.

Hi AJ,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I know how frustrating it is to be blocked from sending messages and not getting the support you need. I’m here to guide you through this.

Quick question: before Outlook.com started blocking your messages, did you happen to import a large number of contacts, calendar invites, or send bulk emails, maybe from a PST file or another account? That kind of activity can sometimes trigger Outlook’s spam filters due to a sudden spike in outbound traffic.

Microsoft does have daily sending limits to help prevent spam, and hitting those limits can temporarily block your account. You can find more details here. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/sending-limits-in-outlook-com-279ee200-594c-40f0-9ec8-bb6af7735c2e

If you’ve reached the limit, waiting 24 hours usually resets it. You can also increase your limit by linking your mobile number to your account. Just keep in mind that each recipient in a group email counts toward your daily total, so sending to large groups can quickly add up.

Let me know if you need help with any of these steps, happy to walk you through it.

Warm regards,

Edward
