I ran up Ventura on the machine and that seemed to work. All I can say is Teams does not work with Sonoma

    hi kevin, welcome in community

try to reset completely the network:

Navigate to Finder, then press Shift + Command + G to open the "Go to Folder" dialog.

    Enter /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and press Enter.

Locate and delete the following files (you might want to back them up first):

    • com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
    • com.apple.network.identification.plist
    • com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
    • NetworkInterfaces.plist
    • preferences.plist

Restart your Mac. This step forces your system to recreate these files, often resolving network issues.

then, re-run teams and let me know how it goes

    Elvis
