For the last 4 days I have been unable to send any outgoing email from my hotmail address with attachments. Even in reply to an email sent to me.
I send attachements, (PDF, JPEG, Word Docs, mainly) everyday, so this really is an impossible situation for me.
I can send an email with no attachments.
How can I resolve this?

Thank you. I have now contacted support, and they have told me this is a known bug amongst some users, they do not have a time scale for when it will be fixed.
You are getting a bounce message? What exactly does the error message say? That will give us an idea what is going wrong.
How long has it been going on? There was a bug that bounced some attachments a few weeks ago but it was fixed.
The message I receive is:
“Remote server returned '550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS(4810)'”
It started on Thursday 1st October, and I’ve has the problem everyday since.
I’ve tried changing the email to plain text from html and send on my phone instead of desktop. I’ve tried saving as a draft and then sending from my phone. Nothing has worked.
The error is from the server, not the client or device you are using. That is the same errror that hit a few weeks ago - it was caused by an error in Microsoft filters.
Try contacting outlook.com support to report this. In Outlook on the web, click on Help tab > Help and type in some search terms. Then at the bottom, click Yes button for Still need help.
It usually doesn't take more than a day or so, although may take longer if it starts over a weekend.
