Hi there!

I created a word document and need to save it as a JPG file for a website my class is using.

There is not a JPG option in the "Save As" dialog box.

When I searched on line, I found resources for making a PDF into a JPG, but I don't want to use another program. My professor said I would find it in the Save As Dialog Box.

Thanks!

Of course, this is due today!!

EmilyS726 is correct — Word is not a graphics program & never has had the capability of saving its files in any image file format. What can be done is to have the content in a Text Box object. The Text Box can be saved as a picture by right-clicking it & selecting that command from the contextual menu.

The method of converting a PDF can be done using Apple's Preview.app using File> Export... .

Note that with either method the jpeg image file type doesn't support multiple pages.

    Hello

Your professor is wrong. There's never an option to save as jpg or other image file. So yes, you have to save as pdf and conver it with a different program.

Or, do screenshots. They would be image files that way.

Just take a snip of the screen.
